I am not going to get upset if you rate my profile a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10. Your rate is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Congrats! You do not like what I rated you, congrats! What I rate you is *my* opinion and *my* prerogative. If you update, and let me know, I will go back and re-rate you according to what my opinion tells me too. It really is not that big of a deal.



Your world is not going to end if I do not rate you a high number.

Your world is not going to end if I rate you a low number.

My world is not going to end if you do not rate me a high number.

My world is most certainly not going to end if you rate me a low number.



I do not care if your House or Coven requires you to rate a certain way. In my opinion they are wrong to do that and completely defeat the purpose of the rating system. So you want to rate everyone you come across, no matter what their pro or port features, a 10. Good on you!! If you want to rate them a 1 guess what? Good on you!! It is *your* choice.



Now having said all that. If you come to me and ask me why I rated you a certain way I will gladly tell you. Heck I will even do you the courtesy of going back to your profile and looking again just so I can get your profile or port clear in my mind. I will talk to you about it if you like and heck, depending on my mood, I may even offer to help you with it if you like. I most certainly will *NOT* get nasty with you or belligerent about it. That is just not my style.



If I message you to ask you why you gave me the rating that you gave me. That is not some sign for you to go and change your rating, not at all. All I want to know is your opinion and I have taken the time to *ask* it of you. I may take what you have to say and make changes or I may not. Either way I will thank you for your opinion and move on. I am not going to get upset.



So what if I am a Sire and now a Sentoran who visits your profile and rates you. Guess what, that does not mean *anything*, your world is not going to end. You too, someday, will be a Sire here on VR. You too could be appointed a position in the Admin here on VR. It can happen!



Look the bottom line is really this simple. You rate what you feel, honestly, a profile or portfolio deserves. You are right you are not wrong. You can do whatever your heart desires for that rating. You can leave a note explaining yourself or you can choose to not explain yourself. That is *your* right and no one has any business telling you what to do except you. Your rating will carry more weight with it the higher up in level you get yeah!! You have a goal.



Really, this is not the end of the world people. Ratings will change and so will profiles and portfolios. Guess what, it does not matter. All that matters is that you are here having fun. You are doing something that you *want* to do. When you stop having fun or doing the things that you want to do on this site it is time to just not come here anymore.



So rate me whatever you feel like rating me. I am not going to pour over each and every rating that I get by people. Heck I think I am lucky if I remember to check to see what people have rated me once every two weeks or so. I seriously does not matter to me. I am here to have fun and to enjoy myself. Do the things that I want to do and make friends as well as talk to my existing friends.

In accordance to my perogative and The VR Manual - Chapter 400 - Page 43; Profiles: Profile Rating and Comments:

"A valid rating is between 1 and 10 with 1 being the lowest score and 10 being the highest. How you choose to rate a profile is totally up to you. Different members will have different criteria for profile rating."

I leave you with this "1".

So what if someone rates me a 1, they felt in their opinion that my pro deserved it. Good for them!



Trying to get a rise out of me because of a rating or a comment left isn't going to work either. It serves no purpose really and I just shrug them off.

Well I have decided that today will be the day I readd pictures to my portfolio. I have just put a few back up in there, and after I finish unpacking a few more box's I will put some more up.

I figure if I set a goal of unpacking 5 box's then upload 5 pictures, that would be a good starting point. Then I can get both tasks accomplished as much as possible today.

Well we sign for our new home here on base tomorrow. YEAH!! Then Friday we get our house hold goods. I am eagerly counting down the hours untill I can get my hands on my personal PC again. YEAH.

I am currently attending a class given by Army Family Team Building on Leadership skills. I have learned many new and interesting things that I will more then likely post about here in my journal over the next month or so.



Last night we where discussing how our words and the way we say things can sometimes trap us into certain mind sets and stereotypical assumptions from others. During this discussion I mentioned some situations that had recently been happening here on VR in regards to Sentorans and them doing, or not doing, their jobs.



We discussed how no one really likes being pointed out that they are in the wrong but that it takes a strong and centered individual to do that. One who is willing to put forth the effort, and their personal time, to accomplish a shared goal of the Sentoran team.



Remember, words are a powerful thing. They can raise you up and they can tear you down in an instant. They can brighten your day and shatter it a moment later.



Choose your words carefully because they will be remembered. Do not let your words make you a victim. Let your words guide you and not take away from who you are. When in doubt, here online, read something typed to you a few times over BEFORE you react to it. You never know, you may just be misunderstanding what is being said to you. If you think you may be misunderstanding something, do yourself and everyone else a favor; ask the person you are in correspondence with questions to help you understand. You will find that most times things are easily solved and responded to in a genuinely friendly manor when you simply ask nicely for help.
